they have conversations
smoking, posing, leaning
and shooting the breeze
on a September Sunday morning
somewhere, anywhere, everywhere
up and down Pennsylvania Avenue
two minutes from the White House
decades from the outhouse
proud men, foreign men
they have come
not to drive cabs
but to make a living
in a different kind of chaos
